Like Farmer warned ya if youre gonna jump at the solenoid be sure n dont get your polarity crossed, is it Pos or Neg ground???? You can hot wire jump the solenoids activation right at the solenoid by jumping from the hot (from battery NOT to starter) big terminal to the lil S activation terminal which ought to pull the solenoid in. Yes the lil S activation terminal leads to a start switch which is hot when activated. Often a chattering solenoid is caused by a weak battery, be sure n have it full charged or try a known good substitute battery. Another cause can be a weak or bad or loose or carboned up cable or connection, remove, clean n wire brush, n reattach each n every battery n starter n solenoid n ground connection FIRST.....BE SURE THE GROUND CONNECTION IS GOOD N CLEAN N TIGHT N CARBON FREE If she were mechanically stuck/jammed that would be more of a high current draw situation versus a chattering solenoid. Insure a good n charged battery,,,,,,,,clean alllllllll connections especially check the batterys ground connection,,,,,,hot jump the solenoid, let us know. I suspect a bad batetry or a bad cable or connection or ground fer now at least John T

Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
