I was turning onto a county road here in South Western Ontario this afternoon, when I saw a lime green tractor coming, wide front with loader and probably the same dimensions as a 60 hp American row crop. Had a cab with white roof. It looked like it had no engine or rad, just a heavy box beam rail from torque tube to the wide front end. I waited while it drove by, it did have an engine somewhere and a snappy sounding 4 or 6 cylinder diesel. I watched him stop at a stop sign, then make a left and start away. This thing had to be a smooth shifting power shift. I could hear it shifting but he went through about 4 gears in 10 seconds. The design looked European, but that whole power train must have been tucked under that cab. What was it? I've never seen anything like it.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
