I'd buy a 3 point utility(wide front) tractor like the To35 or even an 8N/9N. For the 3/4 acre sounds like you'll also need a used 3 pt plow and a disc. Sometimes you can buy a tractor with a used brush hog for mowing or a box blade for the road maintenance. Bottom line, you're going to have more than $2500 invested when you get the implements, but the truth is, you'll get it back when you sell. A tractor(tool) is like money in the bank if you take care of it.
