Need some help from you guys, I have a Billy Goat lot blower with a 10 horse Briggs OHV that had been breaking push rods last year. I took it to a shop to have it fixed but the shop was a joke, so i got it back and repaired it my self. Turns out that Briggs says these engines need to be run on premium fuel because the low octane fuel has to much crap in it. The engine has had problem with the exhaust valve seizing in the guide and will end up unseating the guide. I took to the head to a shop and had the guide reset and reamed out a few thousands. I have it all back to gether and running but i only set the gap by the tappet wiggle method in the field. Does anyone know what the tappet gap values should be on these engines hot or cold? Thanks
