I had a "62 830 years ago and it had pto trouble also.It had a inspection plate on th side of the housing so you could get in to adjust it.The pto shaft on it was a stub shaft that would come out the back.If I remember right ,the manual I had had two pictures in it.One was the setup in mine (pre Comfort King)and the one for the CK.I wouldn"t bet the farm on it,but I think on the CK the whole housing had to come off because Case changed the drive system.Like I say,Don"t remeber for sure.
