Your pump is probably not putting out what it should. If you can get a pressure gauge, T it in to one of your hoses and bottom out that cylinder(s) to get a reading. I don't have a service book to give you the right pressure but it should be around 2000 psi. My wife's BIL had a 580B and it was a little weak. So when I was using it to dig up some stumps, the main line that fed the backhoe broke from being old and rotten blew all of the oil out. After replacing the hose, instead of putting Hy-trans back in the tank like BIL had being using, I use medium hydraulic oil. There was a mark improvement in performance. I could hang the backhoe bucket under a stump and pull the entire machine up with just the outriggers on the ground
