Allan In NE / broken tie rod post

Allen in NE. Good morning. Just caught up reading 'tractor talk' and a few other forums... went through your post and the comments, all of them, regarding the broken tie rod on your IH. I want to say 'thanks for YOUR post and pics'. One way I look at this is that your time and intrest has quite possably saved my buttt, as this tractor is not a priorty with me. however, this has prompted me to change out the VERY worn and loose ball joints and king pins on the front of my Ford 4500, (as one comment mentioned). I use/abuse this thing in the construction and maintaince of my acreage, (very hilly). Glad you are safe. As far as the comments are concerned..... I would say there right on mark. ....clue phone, it's for you. Thanks again for sparing me trouble 'down the road'...sl
