farmall super-h clutch

first, my apologies to the guy who told me that I should check to be sure the 3 screws on the clutch pressure plate arms are adjusted. I didn't see them, they were worn right flush with the pressure plate fingers. when I took the pressure plate off and flipped it over, I saw what was left of the 3 screws. I have now removed what was left of the screws and have 3 fine threaded holes, one in each pressure plate finger. Now, this question: are these 3/8 " fine thread sae bolts with standard heads which I can purchase at any automotive store? secondly, how long should they be? and how far out should each bolt be adjusted from the face of each pressure plate finger? Hope someone can help me. Winter's coming and my tractor is still in pieces.
