OT: Old Pics from Lake Optima Area

Here are some pics from back in the dirty 30's from out here, when so many people left the area and headed to California like in Grapes of Wrath. I remember several tractors mostly buried in the fence rows out here back in the 70's & 80's as a kid from that era: 
The last pic was from near our county seat in Cimarron county during a huge dirt storm. Members from the family of the folks in the picture still live out here. HH

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
