It's less than desirable. If they're too wet they leach and stink.... and don't ensile properly. It's not that you can't do it, by you often get a rancid smelling feed from it. I've baled in the rain to get finished at times, and had bales that weighed close to a ton from an older Claas. That's an activity that's not high on the "recomended" list of things to do. Rod
