Think I agree with Luke. I the summer I don't even use then - starts after a second or two. In the winter when it's really really cold I need them but it starts right up and smokes for a few seconds then clears and I'm ready to go. Have a BX2200 My dad's old 966 would sit their for a few minuted smoking like mad untill it cleared then it was ready to go. The trick is to make sure you've got good batteries charged up. Week batteries and you'll have problems.
