Kim: I am also in Minn..-20 does happen every year.. I never "cut" the fuel..just use #1 as soon as I could.. and a tank heater..A large blanket of any type helps hold the heat in the engine compartment area.. I also hold the clutch in and anything else that takes power from the starter to turn..any tiny bit of work that the starter does NOT have to do can help.. A tank heater is a key item.. hr
