Don't you know women think cars are put the key in anf go there is never any work that is need to be done to them or at least thats how most women think or at least 99% of the ones I have known. I did a tranny filter change and had to replace the tranny oil pan on my wife can not long ago and told her she needed to check the fluid every day for at least a week. Well it didn't get done unless I went out and did it my self. So yep I know what your talking about

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
