Rollovers are not necessarily a predictable event in terms of exactly what will happen. Ground slope, soil conditions, speed, weight distribution, etc, provide LOTS of variables. Keep in mind these things about ROPS: No manufacturer is going to take on the liability of telling you that a ROPS unit will work on a tractor that it was not specifically designed for. Even the best ROPS attachment is only as good as the way it's mounted or attached onto the tractor, and that includes what kind of bolts are used. And even a good ROPS unit is useless (or deadly) if a seatbelt is not used. Regarding your loader adventure... it probably won't be the last time you'll startle yourself. As a fairly new operator, be on guard that whatever you lift with that loader may decide to slide off the top of the bucket and down toward YOU if you lift it too high! All that said, a loader is a WONDERFUL thing to have around, and reasonbly safe if operated in a careful manner. Good luck with yours!
