Just a couple of short comments. First the response has been great, I am definitely changing my plan towards a four poster since I am working in the woods alot. To improve the angle of attack yet still pull from the low drawbar you should use a jack. The cable goes from the stump up over the jack (just a 6' pipe or even a log with a pad to keep it from driving into the ground) and back down to the lower fixed drawbar...below the axles. This makes the pull on the tractor low and the pull on the stump high. The same technique can be used in skidding to get logs over obstacles or across streams. Thanks again Kim
