the recommended hydraulic,trans fluid for my 8n was 80-90wt back in the 50's..now 134 fluid is recommended for use..back then 80 90wt was all they had, I tried it in my tractor when I first got it..dang the hydraulics would take forever to lift...switched over to 134(alot thinner and got it at Walmart) and my hydraulics work great in the upstate NY winters and in the hot summers.. dave
