We are finally reaping many of the China made mentalities. American manufacturer/marketers are being hit from all sides with expensive and embarassing product recalls and lawsuits in their quest for cheap labor and products. A company touting their goods based on an old established and respected name will lose their a** as the name is all they now have since shutting down their production stateside. Once the name is associated with poor products, a hundred years of name respect is lost in one recall. Fisher-price and Mattel at one time were the last word in toy quality. They got cheap and sent their work load to China. Now their recalling all that stuff made over there. Petfood ingredients made over there will eventually ruin several companies. People foods? Well let's not even go there. American production cost vs. Quality will eventually prove out. Wonder where Ford got the components they used in all the 6 million vehicles they are recalling?
