Had a similar situation with a tire store several years ago. Twice for that matter. The neighbor worked for them the first time. I had stopped the tractor with the hole up so I wouldn't loose any chloride. He pulled the valve stem out and let it run on the ground and charged me for new. I didn't pay for it,told his boss what he did,got the impression from how pi$$ed he was that he had to pay for it himself.Next time I called them, some kid came out. Didn't bring a tube, had to sit here and wait for them to bring one from another location. I helped him as much as I could. When we had him loaded up,he called in to see what the bill was, they charged me for the time he's been sitting here,a trip charge, plus an extra hour for the time that they said it would take him to load up and get back to the store 9 miles away. I told him he was all loaded up,the trip charge should cover the time on the road and it wasn't my fault he didn't bring a tube. Didn't matter to them, they wanted the full amount. That was the LAST time I used those crooks.
