I was close to both my Granddads, and my Dad. I will be 66 the last of Nov. and I was 25 and 27 when my Granddads died, and 44 when my Dad died. I just wished I had asked a lot of questions to both Granddads and took notes. My Mom is still alive at 91 for 3 more months. She had a little note book out a couple of years ago that my Granddad King had put daily notes in. I was reading it and on the front page he said I left home in the fall of 04 and went to live with his Brother in Law, then in the Spring of 05 went to live with his Aunt. I assume to take care of her Farm, because his Uncle died about then he must have stayed there about 5 years then He and My Grandmother bought his farm from her Uncle in 1910 they had four boys. I am the only Grandson, seven cousins one died a day after birth, but six were girls. The part of the farm I still live on was not part of it, But only 69 acres have been sold off then My Uncle the only Son still living bought 22 acres of it back.
