thanks guys! sounds as good a place to start as any, havnt had a chance to look at it yet but will see how i go. the pto is the only thing thats really worrying me or limiting the tractor use. have never been inside a case and have no books for it, have found were i can get some here in australia but they want about $350 per manual (parts and operators) i am planning to have a lookin the remotes (when i can do without the tractor for a while) but can also put a seperate bank of remotes for the loader on fairly easy by by going into the line from the filter going back into the remotes (all external piping, out of pump to filter and back to remotes) and putting a dump line back into the filler, this will be better being able to have the loader hooked up as well as an implement at the back. but it would be nice to have the original remotes holding both ways although its not critical. i can still get some bits new out of england/us but they are limited and a bit hit and miss as to whats left for them. (i did get a new tacho cable out of the states $54 here which i thought was ok but theres only 6 left on record) the 930s were more popular in australia, the 1030s had a bad habit of getting hot here and cracking heads (my grandfather had 1 new and it did it he & dad fixed by taking the aircleaner out of the front & putting it out the side, have seen it done on a few 930s as well, but they put another radiator in front of the original as well and it cured the overheating problems. its a bit hard to do this with a fel fitted but) most of the 1030s have been gutted or buried here in wrecking yards. you guys seem to respect the older stuff in the us a bit more than they do here, i have found 1030s advertised in dealerships over there on the net. i havnt seen any in yards here (except mine) in over 15 years. thanks again
