If you follow his suggestions you will be back on here crying the blues. Find a local auto machine shop that does a lot of engine work and have them look at the block and measure it and the crankshaft. I had this done on a B&S cast iron block. It needed to be bored .020" oversize and the crankshaft ground .020" undersize. It needed a new exhaust valve too. I put new main ball bearings in too. I did the teardown and assembly.
