I dont know. I agree shiny is good, but I painted that black stuff on, cant remember the name, but its meant for plows and stuff. Anyway It took a long time for some of that to wear off.
My dad always kept a bucket of old grease and paint brush. We brushed the old grease on, and kept the plow in the shed. No problems with this method. Always shined up perfectly.
