Let me tell about the steering. It actually steers pretty easy, the problem is it takes about 20 revolutions to turn fully in one direction. I guess with power steering they may have change the gear ratio of the steering? The belt you see actually turns the water pump. Let me tell you about the suicide knob on the steering wheel. It is about 6" long. I am 6'5" and the roof is 6' 6" from the platform. Remember when I said that it takes about 20 revolutions to turn it all the way one direction. I guess you can say I like to show off with it and have at many times turned that steering wheel as fast as I can which is very fast cause like I said it isnt that hard to turn. One day my easy to get hurt area got to close to that suicide knob and nailed me when it did it raised me up and I hit my head on the roof. It took me a few minutes before I was ready to drive it again. I know now why they call them suicide knobs!
