I do some heavy plowing with a 48 "M" Farmall. While I no science to support this, I believe that the addative increases the octane of the gas and helps to add a little HP and allows the tractor to run cooler under heavy load. I also add a little Marvles Mistery Oil to the gas. Again, no proof, but it makes me feel better. This is just my own experience with one tractor...
