We had one of those worthless JD 730 Ds. All smoke and noise, could never get the stupid pony motor to start, crank bent by the flywheel. Junk. Our old Cockshutt 50 wasn't so hot either. Bored over so big we had to put an extra battery on it to get the starter to even think about turing it over. And it still wouldn't over half the time. The hyds were shot and would dump 2.5 gal of fluid into the rear end just as quick as you could pull the lever to raise the hay head. Couldn't get it in gear every once in a while. And the governer was not very snappy.
