I'm agreeing with you from Allen from Neb. These Eastern folks have never run up against any thing like a "Red Mojave Rattler" or a [Lord help you if you ever get close to one] Black Tailed Rattler. Neighbor lost a good Pack Horse to a Black Tail and my Daughter has lost several Dogs and Cats to Rattlers this year. I have two resident King Snakes and they do a fine job of controlling my area but May to Oct. is a keep your eyes and ears open time of the year. Just this August I saw two rapped around each other on a Dirt road I frequent and I drove my truck wheel up alongside of them and they both avoided the wheel but when I got out of the truck they assumed the position until Mr. Glock took care of them. We had a pretty good cook out that Night and one of them ,thanks to my SIL, is now rapped around a black Resistol with a Pc. of Turquoise as his center pc. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
