Reminds me of when I was in high school. I worked for one of the neighbors for a couple of summers because my dad had things under control.
We had some heavy rains and some land got flooded. (The neighbor's). Before the flood, I'd been plowing with a pull type plow on some of the land that got flooded. While we were waiting for things to dry out, I was out with a 44 Massey fixing fence one day, and on the way back I hooked onto the plow to pull it home. The plow was on rubber and rolled right off.
I then went back and hooked onto a drag harrow. The harrow was stuck in the mud, both back wheels on the Massey took about a turn and the Massey was down to its belly in the mud. The boss came out with a WD, but he was afraid to get too close for fear of burying the WD. We wound up getting the two biggest wreckers in the county, used one for an anchor and the other one hooked to it to winch the Massey out.
