We were having trouble starting my gas 806 one cold day. My friend says he'll spray the ether in the airfilter port when I turn it over . He is standing on the right front tire.I hit the starter and BANG a flame shoots out of the aircleaner port and blows said friend 5 feet acoss the polebarn floor. I jumped down to assist him and now the tractor is on fire. He appearing to be OK I sprint 250 yards to the house for the fire extinguisher and back (isn't that where you keep yours?). On my return the fire is out and friend is intact but he has no forearm hair and no eyebrows! He looked like Dick Gephardt. (an unsuccessful former Presidential wannabe fom St. Louis best known for doubling our tax rate and his prominent abscence of eyebrows.) We use ether very sparingly if at all now.If you didn't know it , if the ether is pooling as a liquid as you spray it , better stop or cover your eyebrows (unless you are planning to run for President.)
