you can rent fan removal tool @ parts store. look carefully @ sticker on top of fan shroud; i have 6/95 model in shop that is marked RH thread. take your time removing bolts as they can hang up in aluminum casting. tap gently-small hammer/punch. should have formed o-ring instead of gasket for mounting.hint--break out temp sender,heater hose fitting etc. while pump is still bolted solid unless you have BIG vise/work bench--paul
