I have advertised quite a few items, and I will get a call on the item, the very first thing they say is"How much do you want" Now they either are just pricing, because they have one of the same model, or just are interested in the price for their own reason. I respond with "Dont you want to know anything about the tractor or item? There are hundreds of diffrent tractors in 100 different states of repair. If I have a guanteed cherry of a tractor, and price it for $800. more then the last piece of junk they looked at, they tell me to stick it. It is hard to tell who the buyer is on the phone, you might not even want to take cash, because when he gets it home he will diffently find something wrong and be on his phone complaining that I robbed him. Deal locally. There are all kinds of buyers and sellers. The same goes for landlords and tenants..usually the tenant gets heck, but there are some landlords that you would not want to rent from no matter what....just my .33 cents worth.
