If you want a truck, I would consider a 2wd dodge diesel... good mileage, and a great engine. It may cost you $3000-$4000 for a well used one. Gas pickup trucks are a dime a dozen around here (MN). Lots of chevy"s, ford"s, and dodge"s pushing past 200,000 miles...I"m sure you could find a decent one for $3000 or less. They are easy to fix, but expensive to fill up at the pump!
