Boy you guys are cheap, I charge $110 a ton 50 lb bales, wire and string. Wire cost slightly more but in the long run its cheaper do to never having to re-bale any. Not sure but I think we paid $140 for the two boxes of wire and it sure goes a long way. But darn heavy when you have to add a new roll. Personally I like the string balers but my buddy likes his wire baler. We have two IHC 46 balers (wire and string) and New Holland string baler I like it the best but it keeps braking down on me.
