Father-in-law wanted to trade in his 99 Ford Taurus on a Lincoln... they allowed him $500 and said "That"s an OLD car!" The Lincoln he was trading on was a 98 model year with low miles so he told them, "That Lincoln is an even OLDER car!" and left.
A week later he saw a similar Taurus on their lot for $4500!
I don"t mess with dealers anymore, they are most often a total rip-off. eBay has been OK for me with vehicles and I think I"ll go there again for the next one.
