As ever, thanks so much for all your replies fellas!! This has certainly been an educational experience for me. I have purchased Ford tractors, equipment and my first truck ('55 Cevy)from the present owner's grandfather and father. I know much has changed in the business world over the years, but I can't help to think the grandfather would turn over in his grave if he had to busines this way today. He was raised during the depression and did most of his business on a hand shake as did his brother who built up a very successful feed, farm supply and farm equipment dealership. Not particularily dumping on the grandson, but I guess I've been stuck in the past for too long. Jim
