Luke, there was a good deal of build-up, metal flakes around the magnet when I changed the fluid. I have an IT manual and it doesn't talk about the spool valve or at least I can't find any thing. I am going to replace the PTO clutch and hopefully fix this valve this weekend. So what you are saying is jack the back to the cab up a few inches (what all do I need to unhook to jack the back of the cab, I lifted the front and didn't have to unhook anything), unbolt the 3 point arms and then I should see some valve down there? I there something hooked to it so I will know what I am looking for. All help is appreciated.
