I'd like to thank those of you that responded to my inquiry...Even the ex-alchoholics that are on the soapbox condeming my use of an old Pepsi machine for my own personal enjoyment...I'm not an "alchie" by any stretch of my twisted imagination...I have to pass random drug and alchohol testing for my full time employment and to keep my CDL license intact..I learned many good tips for eliminating aluminum odors being emitted from my relic pop machine...If the "crybabies" want to stop by some time , I'd like to discuss this in more detail with them..Maybe over a cold BEER. I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
