Last year think it was at US12 and Tharp Lake Rd in Union, MI. some guys were digging for I think was a barn foundation and found like a 12" or maybe 18" main the hard way. That was one big, deadly crater. I wasn't home at the time, but shook everything for miles when it went off. Was unfortunate. That pipeline company put a trailer and guard out there for months to make sure no one touched evidence. That was a mighty big, deep hole. One could've parked multiple semis in that thing. Was a young guy operating from locally had a young mother to be wife. Sad.
