Question: Several years ago My father purchased a farmall super a for parts, and the mower that was attached to it. We disassembled the entire tractor and stored the parts in the barn. He scrapped the engine block but kept everything else. Is there differencences in the majority of the parts between the 2 engines that I can use the parts from the original? or do I need to find one that the parts actually fit? How can I tell which one they fit? I dont have direct access to the serial number right now cause its in CO, and I live in MT. But I would like to restore it and make use of the parts, instead of letting them sit and rust/ collect dust in the barn. Can I tell which motor was in it by the serial #? Thanks
