Bobcat yes, Cougar, no way. Last confirmed cougar was trapped in the Huron Mountains of Marquette County back in 1939 but that does not stop people from being sure they have seen them. Bobcats have actually been seen in every county because they do disperse as individuals at times. If there were cougars in Michigan some one would have surely treed one with hounds or hit one with a car, there needs to be a minimum number of animals inorder to maintain a population that surely would be confirmed.
