Many years ago, the game wardens were out here, near Pittsburgh, Pa. looking for a reported brown bear! Now, nobody i knew had seen it, but the wardens looked mighty hard for it anyway! I had heard back then, that a local hunter had found a brown bear cub lost in the woods up north, and brought it home to my area. That story made the rounds, and friends said they were true! When the cub got old enough to survive on its own, he let it go! Maybe thats what the GW was looking for. Never heard if they found it. Haven't seen any bobcats here yet, seen and heard coyotes, even saw one. But, there seems to be a dearth of loose cats and dogs hereabouts any more!
