I tried Amsoil in a Buick V6, a Ford pickup with 300 6 cyl, and an IH Scout II with an AMC 6 cyl. ALL vehicles had rocker cover oil leaks after a few thousand miles, where there had been none previous. This was in late seventys, and I believed the oil attacked the cork gaskets used then. The pickup owners manual said 10-30 oil was ok in the 4 speed transmission, so I put in Amsoil, and it really shifted nice, in winter, after that. However I personally believe that it is a pyramid scheme, buyer beware!
