Fertilizer, fuel, herbicides, and seed has all gone up drastically in the past 18 months.
Now everyone is complaining that food is too high. Jobs are going away, housing market is terrible, dollar is worthless, and nothing the govt can do to fix those things. But, they can easily change grain prices, drop them 1/3 with the single pen stroke, and make all those voters happy.
For the time being.
It will wreck USA agriculture, and we will all be eating our Brazilion food in 5 years, at whatever price they want to charge us.... But, the voters will be happy for this election period.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
