I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I volunteered to help a neighbor out by changing the fluids and filter in his ford tractor. Everything was going smooth until I got to the differentials / Hyd in the rear axle. There are to large screw caps on the top right and left of the axle. I hope someone can tell me what goes where.
I would also like to know where I check the fluid level for the plug on the left? I did see one article the said that there was a dipstick near the PTO. This tractor does not have a dipstick there. I believe the fluid level for the plug on the right is checked by a square plug on the lower right side of the transmission.
There are no matching model numbers that I can find for this tractor. I have order to manuals online and neither show these plug or can even help me identify this tractor.
Napa did tell me that the replacement air filter I purchased would fit a 2600, 3600 4100, 4600 and a few others.
