I bought the van last year and it will haul the same size (not weight!) as a pickup box with the seats out. We used it to move 99% of our belongings from the apartment to the new house and averaged 23 mpg doing it. Added a hitch this year to pull a trailer, too. Also, when not being used to haul materials, seven people fit more comfortably than in an SUV.
That's five 4x8 sheets of plywood, ten 10' 2x4s and eight 8' 2x4s.
