Hey Ya'll Got an 49 8N front mount. Having trouble getting the timing set, have point set to .015 on high side. When I flip over the Distributer Base to set the timing, can't get the timing just right. Could the Shaft Cam Weight Assy. be bad. I'm about an 1/4 inch out. Have gone by the book, on how to set the timing. Have put in a new Coil, Condenser, Distributer, Rotor, Points, Plugs and Wires and rebuilt the Carb. The Cam is turning when put back on block.I was having trouble with it not starting.
