Both the Krone 125 and 260 we bought had been used hard, abused, and had dents and damage. For the price, we took a chance. We bought both balers for $3,200 (not as good as your $350) and had them worked on. We have less than $5000 total in the balers.
We have a small hay field and last year baled 40 bales with the 260. We baled 10 this May, again with the 260. It works just fine. First bale or two is usually ugly, but after that, they"re nice.
We have yet to use the 125, but plan on using it in the next few weeks.
Nothing wrong with buying used equipment, especially if the price is right.
