Alot of people don't realize that the people who leased the toll road are out of money. The employees are all but on strike and may just shut the thing down. I have a great uncle that was part of building the original road. Once the bonds were paid off, the tolls were to go away. Its always been a money maker, why pawn it off? Indiana is still contracted to repair the bridges for 20 years. The improvements are still required to be done by the state for 10 years. Not very smart when you don't have anything coming in from it. And you are not allowed to build any new roads within 20 miles going the same direction.
