On my 1951 Farmall H I rebuilt last year, I had a friend look it over in southern IN. He thought it was fine but turned out needing a complete engine rebuild. From now on I will look it over personally before I make a bid. I don't fault him and appreciated his help. This thread could get some interesting responses. On all my other purchases through the last 10 years, I looked them over myself and were not all that far from my house.
