Not bad advice on the tractors. Knowing where to sell them one could make something there. In. has some good points. Gold is very good now especially compared to the US dollar (can it get much weaker?) but I think thats because of them printing so much of it (printing more when people have less doesn't work well). Kind of wish I had put some $ into PepsiCo and Wal-Mart stock when it was $5 to 10 a share, that is if it was ever that low. Has anyone ever seen those two fall much? I haven't. Plenty of Pepsi consumers and Wal-Mart shoppers even in tougher times.
Hope we don't do anything stupid with Iran. I'd hate to see $6 fuel. $3.50 is plenty. I like and will vote for McCain in Nov. (unless a fourth choice comes along, very unlikely) but he frightened me a little when he got talking about energy and Russia the other night. I read on-line his plan for something like 45 new reactors by 2030? Fine by me but don't be putting the radioactive waste in my yard.
