Unable to get unit to charge. Wiring harness has been altered. I am looking for the correct size wiring going to the voltage regulator and the wiring from the regulator to the alternator. these wire have been reduced to 14 guage wire. Voltage regulator has been installed instead of breakout switch and new light switch has been install. PROBLEM: every time you start the tracor to get it to charge you have to jump the terminals on the generator and the tractor will continue to charge. When you shut off the unit the points in the voltage regulator will not open unless you disconnect the ground. Need some help. Thank You
